Twins lost to the Angels last night 4-3

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins lost to the Angels last night at Target Field by the score of 4-3. The Twins fell behind 4-1 but scored two runs in the sixth to pull within one run. In the seventh, they had runners at second and third with one out, but couldn’t score. In the ninth, Trevor Larnach doubled with one out, but a ground out and a line out ended the game.

Starter Zebby Matthews takes the loss. He gave up four runs on nine hits, two walks and three strikeouts in six innings pitched. The teams play again today at 1:10 with Joe Ryan getting the start for Minnesota.
