Twins over the Guardians

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians play game two of their three-game series tonight at Target Field. The Twins won the series opener last night 3-1 behind a stellar pitching performance from Taj Bradley, who worked seven innings to move to 8-3 on the season. The 45-47 Twins have won seven of their past ten games, while the 47-45 Guardians have dropped three straight contests. Minnesota will send lefty Connor Prielipp to the hill tonight. The rookie is 2-5 so far this season with a 4.96 earned run average. He faces Guardians right-hander Slade Cecconi, who is 4-6 this year with a 4.44 E-R-A. First pitch tonight is 6:40 P-M.
