Twins rally, but still lose
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Atlanta Braves put up four runs in the top of the tenth inning during an 8-6 win over the Minnesota Twins, spoiling a late-game rally by the Twins. Atlanta took an early 4-0 lead before Minnesota scored three runs in the seventh inning and tied the game in the eighth with run. However, Matt Olson, Travis d’Arnaud, and Ramon Laureano all drove in runs during the tenth to put the Braves up for good. Michael Harris-the-second homered in the victory, while Raisel Iglesias earned his fourth win in relief. The 72-60 Braves have won five of their last six. Jhoan Duran was charged with his eighth loss in relief as the 72-60 Twins dropped their third game in a row. Minnesota remains two-and-a-half-games out of first-place in the A-L Central, while Kansas City is now tied with Cleveland atop the division standings.
