Twins roll in Texas

The Twins’ bats stayed hot in Arlington. Minnesota beat the Texas Rangers 12-2 Tuesday night, piling up 17 hits and clinching another series win in Texas. Trevor Larnach opened the game with a leadoff homer, and Kody Clemens added a three-run shot as the Twins jumped out early and never looked back. Zebby Matthews gave Minnesota seven strong innings, allowing just two earned runs. The win moved the Twins into a three-game winning streak, and they’ll wrap the series Thursday morning before heading to Arizona for the weekend.
