Twins’ Six-Run Comeback Falls Short in Seattle
The Minnesota Twins erased a six run deficit Sunday night, but ultimately fell to the Seattle Mariners 7 to 6 on a walk off single.
Seattle carried a 6 nothing lead into the eighth inning after Cal Raleigh hit a three run homer in the seventh.
Minnesota answered with five runs in the eighth. Trevor Larnach started the comeback with a two run homer before Josh Bell, Brooks Lee and Royce Lewis helped cut the deficit to one.
Luke Keaschall tied the game in the top of the ninth, but Seattle’s Colt Emerson delivered the game winning single in the bottom half of the inning.
Twins starter Taj Bradley allowed three earned runs over six innings. Minnesota lost two of three games in the series.
