Twins slug past Tigers
The Twins are looking to bounce back today after a rough night in Detroit. Minnesota fell to the Tigers, ten-to-four, despite Byron Buxton opening the game with his nineteenth home run of the season and Josh Bell adding the two-hundredth homer of his career. Detroit answered quickly and broke the game open with power of its own, including a big night from Dillon Dingler. The Twins and Tigers continue the series today in Detroit, with another chance for Minnesota to steady the pitching staff and get back in the win column.
