Twins Start Weekend Series Against Padres

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins were off last night and will open a seven-game homestand starting with a three-game interleague series against San Diego tonight. The 60-73 Twins just lost two of three at Toronto, including Wednesday night’s 9-8 setback. The 75-59 Padres are in second place in the N-L West after Wednesday’s 4-3 loss in Seattle. San Diego was also off last night. Tonight’s game will begin at 7:10 P-M at Target Field in downtown Minneapolis.
