Twins still winless, get blasted by White Sox

(Chicago, IL) — The White Sox opened their three-game series against the Minnesota Twins with a dominant 9-0 win yesterday in Chicago. Former Twins lefty Martin Perez didn’t allow a hit and struck out nine batters over six innings to earn the win. Minnesota collected two hits in the seventh inning for their lone hits of the game. The Twins struck out 12 times in the defeat. Chris Paddack gave up all nine runs for Minnesota, which is still winless on the young season at 0-4. The Twins have been outscored 28-6 in the first four games of the season, including 18-2 the last two contests. The same two teams play tonight at Rate Field in Chicago at 6:40 P-M.
