Twins Swept By Braves
(Minnesota News Network-Atlanta, GA) — The Atlanta Braves completed a three-game sweep of the Minnesota Twins with a 6-2 win at Truist Park in Atlanta yesterday. The Braves hit three home runs in the victory with Matt Olson, Drake Baldwin, and Marcell Ozuna all going deep. Grant Holmes earned his second win after giving up one run on four hits in five-and-two-thirds innings. Atlanta is on a three-game winning streak. Byron Buxton homered in the losing effort, and Joe Ryan was charged with his second loss after surrendering six runs on eight hits in five innings. The Twins dropped to 7-15 on the season and are off today. The season resumes tomorrow night with a home game Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox at Target Field.
