Twins Try to Avoid Sweep in San Diego

The Minnesota Twins will try to avoid a three-game sweep when they close out their weekend series against the San Diego Padres this afternoon.

Right-hander Bailey Ober is scheduled to start for Minnesota. Ober is 7-and-4 with a 4-point-62 E-R-A.

San Diego will counter with right-hander Walker Buehler, who enters the game at 7-and-6 with a 4-point-79 E-R-A.

The Padres won Friday’s opener 6-to-2 before rallying for a 7-to-5 victory Saturday. The Twins enter today’s game with a 63-and-67 record.
