Twins Walk Off Mets

(Minnesota News Network-Minneapolis, MN) — Ty France singled in the 10th inning to give the Twins a 4-3 extra innings win over the Mets on Wednesday afternoon at Target Field. Minnesota blew a 3-0 lead when New York tied the game with three runs in the top of the eighth. But in the 10th inning, with Byron Buxton on second as the automatic runner, France knocked him in with a single to center and the game winning R-B-I. The Twins took two-of-three on the series and improved to 7-12 on the season. They’re off today and will spend the weekend in Atlanta. First pitch on Friday against the Braves is at 6:15 P-M.
