Twins Walk Off Phillies

(Minneapolis, MN) — Max Kepler singled in Trevor Larnach in the bottom of the ninth as the Twins rallied to beat the Phillies 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon at Target Field. Philadelphia lead the game 4-1 in the seventh inning before the comeback began for Minnesota. Carlos Santana doubled to left to score Kepler and Larnach to pull the game even 4-4 in the seventh and then it was Kepler that walked off the winner to seal the win. The Twins took two of three in the series against the Phillies to improve to 56-45 on the season. Minnesota is off on Thursday before opening a weekend series in Detroit on Friday night.
