Twins walk off White Sox
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins came through in the clutch during a 6-5 come-from-behind win over the Chicago White Sox at Target Field last night. Minnesota trailed by three runs entering the bottom of the eighth before Trevor Larnach smashed a two-run home run to bring the Twins within one after eight frames. Byron Buxton tied the game with a solo blast in the ninth. Later in the inning, Alex Kirilloff hit a walk-off R-B-I single to win the game. Jay Jackson earned his first win in relief as the 9-13 Twins have won three of four. Steven Wilson was charged with the loss out of the bullpen, and Eloy Jimenez went yard in the losing effort. Chicago is on a five-game losing streak, falling to 3-20 on the season. Game three of the four-game series is tonight at 6:40 P-M in Minneapolis.
