Twins win third straight
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins pounded out 13 hits during a 6-3 win over the Chicago White Sox last night at Target Field. The 10-13 Twins scored four runs in the bottom of the second before adding two more in the fifth. Willi Castro hit a three-run home run during the victory, while Christian Vazquez had three hits and an R-B-I. Joe Ryan earned his first win of the year after striking out eight and allowing just three runs on four hits in six innings, while Griffin Jax picked up his third save. Minnesota has won four of five. Kevin Pillar and Korey Lee both went deep in the losing effort for Chicago. Garrett Crochet was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering five runs on seven hits in four innings. The Southsiders are on a six-game losing streak and sit at 3-21 on the season. The Twins go for the four-game series sweep this afternoon at 12:10 P-M.
