Twins withstand Weather Delay, beat Astros
The Minnesota Twins got the week started on the right note, beating the Houston Astros 6–3 Monday night at Target Field. Josh Bell powered the offense with two home runs and four RBIs, including a solo shot in the second and a two-run homer in the fourth. The game also included a one-hour, 57-minute rain and lightning delay, but Minnesota kept control after the pause. The Twins and Astros continue the series today in Minneapolis, with first pitch scheduled for 6:40 p.m. Central.
