TWO HURT IN BROWN COUNTY CRASH

The state patrol was called to a collision between a transit van and a Jeep at the intersection of Highway 4 and County Road 22 Tuesday afternoon around 1:45 pm.  Authorities say the Jeep was driven by 45-year-old Erika Georgina Castro Serrato of St. James.  She and the driver of the van 29-year-old Tanar Creech of Belle Plaine were taken to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  Sleepy Eye Police and ambulance, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the MnDOT assisted at the scene.
