TWO HURT IN MARTIN COUNTY PLANE CRASH
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash of a small plane in rural Martin County Monday. Authorities say the crash was reported around 3:20 pm near 50th Street and 310th Avenue southeast of Fairmont near the Martin/Faribault County line. Two people were on the plane and both reported minor injuries. The FAA will investigate what caused the crash. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, state patrol, Fairmont fire department and Blue Earth Fire and ambulance assisted at the scene.
