Two Injured in McLeod Co Crash

A driver and passenger were injured in a two-vehicle crash in McLeod County Wednesday morning on the east side of Silver Lake.

The State Patrol says 23-year-old Miranda Speed-Joiner of Watertown and her passenger, 22-year-old Briana Titus of Shoreview, were taken to Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, 36-year-old Tara Strey of Hutchinson, was not injured.

The Patrol says both vehicles were eastbound on Highway 7 when they collided near County Road 2 just after 7:30am.
