Two Injured in McLeod County Crash

A driver and passenger in a car were injured in a crash with a straight truck in McLeod County this morning (Wednesday) west of Brownton.

The State Patrol says 78-year-old Shirley Meece of Hutchinson and 46-year-old Kimberly Meece of Stewart were taken to Glencoe Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, 21-year-old Tyler Whitney of Brownton, was not injured.

The Patrol says both vehicles were traveling southbound on Highway 15 when the crash happened just after 10am.
