Two Injured in Sibley County UTV Crash

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a UTV rollover that seriously injured two people Friday night.

Deputies responded around 8pm near the intersection of 491st Avenue and 246th Street.

Authorities say 40-year-old Nicholas Schiroo of Gaylord was driving a Can-Am Maverick when the UTV lost a wheel and entered the northbound ditch, causing it to roll.

Schiroo and his passenger, 29-year-old Hannah Johnson, were found outside the UTV with severe injuries.

North Memorial AirCare was notified, and both were transported to the Ridgeview Arlington Campus for further medical treatment.
