Two Semi Accidents Reported Along I94 in West Central Minnesota Monday
Two people were injured, one seriously, in separate crashes on I-94 in west central Minnesota Monday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the first crash happened around 3:30 a.m. when a semi driver from Lauderdale Lakes, Florida turned over the Freightliner he was driving in the median near the Downer exit. The driver was taken to a hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The second crash happened around 7:45 a.m. near Fergus Falls. A driver from Miami, Florida suffered serious injuries after a semi truck and passenger vehicle crashed. The driver of that semi is reportedly from Cape Coral, Florida. The driver of the passenger vehicle was ejected. That driver was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo.
Around 8:40 a.m., while troopers and other personnel were taking care of that crash, two vehicles crashed next to the scene. No one was hurt in that crash.
