U.S. Army Corps Releasing Water from Lac qui Parle Dam
(Learfield News/St. Paul, MN) — The St. Paul District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will maintain higher-than-normal flows at Lac qui Parle Dam near Watson to assess conditions from high water a few years ago.
The minor deviation will lower the reservoir from 938 feet to 934 feet.
The Corp urges everyone to use extreme caution near the high waters, avoid unnecessary activities, and always wear a life jacket.
