US Gymnastics Olympic trials start today in Minneapolis
(Minneapolis, MN) — America’s top gymnasts are almost ready to compete for a spot in the Summer Olympic Games. The 2024 U-S Olympic Team Trials begin tonight at Target Center in Minneapolis. The U-S Olympic rosters will be made up of five men and five women and will be announced after the trials. The first day of men’s action begins tonight at 5:30 P-M, followed by the first day of women’s coverage tomorrow at 6:40 P-M. Former Gopher men’s star gymnast Shane Wiskus of Spring Park, who was on the U-S roster in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, will will be competing among a group that includes three-time U-S all-around champion Brody Malone. The women’s competition includes gold medalists Simone Biles and Suni Lee of St. Paul. Action continues on Saturday and Sunday.
