USA Olympic Curling Increasing Interest in Minnesota

(Learfield News/Willmar, MN) The success of the U.S. curling teams at the Winter Olympics is increasing interest in Minnesota.

Scott Holwerda of Glacial Ridge Curling says they just opened their facility in Willmar and had a big open house:

He says they are enjoying the new four sheets of ice in the former Herberger’s space in the Uptown Willmar Mall.

The U.S. men’s curling team is 4-2 in round robin play while the Team USA women are 4-1 and face Italy today.
