Vacancy in MN’s Eighth Judicial District

[ST. PAUL, MN] – The Commission on Judicial Selection Monday announced a vacancy in Minnesota’s Eighth Judicial District.

The vacancy will occur upon the retirement of the Honorable Thomas W. Van Hon.

The seat will be chambered in Montevideo in Chippewa County.

The application process is now open through August 19.

The commission expects to hold interviews in September.

The district includes Big Stone, Chippewa, Grant, Kandiyohi, Lac qui Parle, Meeker, Pope, Renville, Stevens, Swift, Traverse, Wilkin, and Yellow Medicine Counties.
