Vehicle Break-ins at Wright Co Churches

Authorities are investigating after multiple vehicles were broken into in church parking lots in Wright County Sunday.

The first report was just before 12:30pm at the Quarry Church in Monticello Township.

Deputies learned through statements from the victim as well as from video from the church that an individual exited a newer silver Nissan Murano and approached the victim’s vehicle, then broke the driver side window. Nothing appeared to be missing from that vehicle, however, another victim reported their vehicle broken into and items stolen from the vehicle while at the Quarry Church.

Several other similar incidents were reported including numerous thefts from vehicles at Connection Point Church and at the Buffalo Evangelical Free Church, both in Buffalo Township.

In total there have been 13 victims identified in the incidents.
