VERNON CENTER MAN CRITICALLY HURT IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH
The state patrol was called to a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon at Highway 169 and 145th Street in Vernon Center Township at 12:45 pm. Authorities say a Yamaha Cruiser driven by 22-year-old Alexander Sullivan of Vernon Center was northbound on Highway 169 when he lost control and was ejected. Sullivan was taken to St. Mary’s with life-threatening injuries. He wasn’t wearing a helmet. Mapleton-Amboy police, Vernon Center Fire Department, Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and Lake Crystal ambulance assisted at the scene.
