Veteran’s Court Assisting and Supporting Veterans and their Families

The 5th Judicial District: Blue Earth, Brown, Cottonwood, Faribault, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Martin, Murray, Nicollet, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Rock and Watonwan counties began its Veteran’s Court in 2013.  New Ulm Police Sergeant Aaron Widmark said the goals include:  reducing contacts with criminal justice system, improve access to VA benefits and services, improve family relationships and support and helping achieve life stability.
