VICTIM IDENTIFIED IN WELLS HOMICIDE
The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim of a homicide in rural Wells Friday. Authorities say the victim has been identified as 54-year-old Miguel Angel Chavez-Lopez of Albert Lea. His body was found on a rural property located 540th Avenue in rural Wells. Authorities say there are no suspects at this time but there is no threat to the public. The manner of death is confirmed as a homicide and the investigation continues with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
