Vikes Beat Pack, Moved To 4-0

The Minnesota Vikings built a 28-point lead in the second quarter, but had to hold on for a 31-29 win over the Green Bay Packers yesterday at Lambeau Field. The team jumped out to a 28-0 lead before Green Bay scored a touchdown going into the half. The Pack scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter but failed to recover an onside kick which gave Minnesota the win. Sam Darnold completed 20-of-28 passes for 275 yards, three touchdowns and a pick as the Vikings remain undefeated and sit atop the N-F-C North at 4-0. Receiver Jordan Addison returned for the Vikings and scored a receiving and a rushing touchdown, while Justin Jefferson and Josh Oliver added a score apiece. Jordan Love returned for the Packers and completed 32-of-54 passes for four touchdowns and three interceptions. Dontayvion Wicks caught two T-D’s as Green Bay sits third in the division at 2-2. The Vikings will travel to London later this week for a Sunday morning game against the New York Jets.
