Vikings do it Again!

(Seattle, WA) — The Minnesota Vikings picked up their first victory in Seattle since 2006 with a 27-24 win over the Seahawks at Lumen Field on Sunday. The Vikings erased a 24-20 deficit when quarterback Sam Darnold found Justin Jefferson on a 39-yard touchdown pass with just under four-minutes remaining in the contest. Jefferson finished the game with ten receptions for 144 yards and two scores. Darnold was 22-for-35 for 246 yards and three T-D passes. Theo Jackson intercepted a Geno Smith pass on Seattle’s final drive to seal the win The 13-2 Vikings are on an eight-game winning streak, while Seattle has dropped two straight to dip to 8-7. Smith had 314 yards, three touchdowns, and a pair of interceptions in the losing effort. The Vikings played without starting safety Harrison Smith, who missed the game due to a foot injury. Minnesota will host Green Bay on Sunday at noon.
