Vikings dominate Texans, go to 3-0
(Minneapolis, MN) — Sam Darnold threw four touchdowns as the Vikings stomped the Texans 34-7 on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium. Jonathan Greenard had three sacks as once again the Vikings defense was stout. They also intercepted Houston quarterback C.J. Stroud twice as the defense was menacing in helping the Vikings improve to 3-0 on the season. Justin Jefferson, Aaron Jones, Jalen Nailor and Johnny Mundt all caught touchdown passed from Darnold as the Vikings Q-B matched his career high for T-D’s in a single game. Jefferson had six catches for 81 yards and Jones rushed 19 times for 102 yards. Darnold finished the day with 181 yards through the air going 17 for 28. The Vikings now travel to Green Bay next Sunday for an N-F-C North showdown against the Packers.
