Vikings hang on, go into bye 5-0

(London) — The Minnesota Vikings are still undefeated after holding off the New York Jets 23-17 yesterday morning in London. Vikes’ quarterback Sam Darnold completed 14 of his 31 pass attempts against his former team for 179 yards and an interception. Will Reichard converted all three of his field goal attempts and both of his extra points. Andrew Van Ginkel recorded a pick-six and C-J Ham also found the endzone for Minnesota, which is now 5-0. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 29 of 54 for 244 yards and two touchdowns, but was also intercepted three times. Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard each caught a touchdown pass. New York dropped to 2-3. The Vikings have a bye week this week and will next be in action on Sunday, October 20th at home against division rival Detroit.
