Vikings Looking Ahead To Friday’s Preseason Game
(Eagan, MN) — Training camp is starting to hit the final stretch for the Minnesota Vikings, who play their final preseason game of the year on Friday night at Tennessee. Vikes linebacker Blake Cashman won’t play in Friday’s game, so he says he has to use the daily practices to get better and to also help the young guys understand what they’re doing. Fellow linebacker Bo Richter will play in Friday’s exhibition and he says he considers it another opportunity to make plays and show he can be an impactful player. Meanwhile, the team signed running back Xazavian Valladay and offensive lineman Zack Bailey to contracts yesterday. Valladay has been on four different practice squads since entering the N-F-L as an undrafted player in 2023, while Bailey was with Minnesota in 2020 and 2021. The Purple cut linebacker Max Tooley in a corresponding move.
