Vikings lose in LA
(Inglewood, CA) — The Minnesota Vikings have gone from unbeaten to twice-beaten in a span of five days. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford shined to help Los Angles take down the Vikings in an N-F-C showdown on Thursday Night Football last night. L-A beat Minnesota 30-20 in the primetime matchup at SoFi Stadium in Southern California. Stafford completed 25-of-34 passes for 279 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the team’s second straight victory. Puka Nacua (poo-kuh nuh-koo-uh) had seven catches for 106 yards while Cooper Kupp tallied five receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown in their returns to the lineup. Demarcus Robinson had two receiving T-Ds and Kyren Williams had one to go along with 97 yards on the ground. The Rams improved to 3-4. Minnesota quarterback Sam Darnold was 18-of-25 for 240 yards and two touchdowns in the losing effort. Justin Jefferson finished with eight catches for 115 yards as the Vikings slipped to 5-2. The Vikes will host the Indianapolis Colts a week from Sunday.
