Vikings Opening Minicamp Today
The Minnesota Vikings hold their first mandatory practices of the offseason from T-C-O Performance Center this week. The Purple begins a three-day minicamp today. Minnesota spent the last two weeks at voluntary offseason team activities. One of the areas the team is working on is finding leadership and production to replace linebacker Jonathan Greenard (gruh-NARD), who was traded to Philadelphia earlier this offseason. Dallas Turner is entering his third year in the league and says he is working to take over some of those duties. He says he owes a lot to Greenard.
In addition, Kyler Murray and J-J McCarthy will continue their battle for the starting quarterback job this week.
