Vikings prepping for Detroit
(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings will spend the week getting ready for their shot at the top seed in the N-F-C. Minnesota will visit the Lions in Detroit for Sunday Night Football. The Purple are 14-2 after a 27-25 win over the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings would clinch the N-F-C North title and secure the a first-round bye with a victory. If they lose, they’ll have the five-seed in the playoffs. Detroit beat San Francisco last night 40-34 to move to 14-2 on the season. Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said yesterday that he expects running back Aaron Jones to play in Sunday’s game, and they even could have defensive tackle Pat Jones available. Sunday’s game kicks off at 7:20 P-M at Ford Field.
