Vikings Quarterback Battle Stays Tight as Rookie Corner Shines

The Vikings’ quarterback competition remains unsettled following a lighter training-camp practice Tuesday at TCO Performance Center.

JJ McCarthy and Kyler Murray both had uneven stretches during the workout in shells, with neither quarterback clearly separating himself.

Rookie cornerback Charles Demmings continues to draw positive reviews. The fifth round pick has reportedly held his own in coverage against Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, putting himself in the conversation for an early role in Minnesota’s secondary.
