Vikings Receiver Jeshaun Jones Suspended Three Games

The N-F-L has suspended Vikings wide receiver Jeshaun Jones for the first three games of the regular season without pay.

The league says Jones violated its substances-of-abuse policy but did not disclose the nature of the violation.

Jones leads Minnesota this preseason with six receptions for 80 yards. He remains eligible for Friday night’s preseason finale in Denver before the suspension begins Sunday.

Jones can apply for reinstatement September 28th. The suspension comes as he competes for a spot on Minnesota’s 53-man roster.
