Vikings report to Training Camp
(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings reported for training camp yesterday at T-C-O Performance Center. General manager Kwesi Adopho-Mensah and head coach Kevin O’Connell addressed the media to kick things off and touched on a number of topics including how the team will remember rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson who died in a car accident on July 6th. The team is contributing more than $20,000 toward the funeral expenses and will pay out the remainder of Jackson’s signing bonus to his estate and will also host Jackson’s family at a private Vikings celebration of life in Minnesota with Jackson’s teammates and coaches. The two also addressed the offseason incident involving second year receiver Jordan Addison. He was arrested earlier this month in California under the suspicion of driving under the influence. As of yet neither the N-F-L or the Vikings have issued any type of fines or suspension toward Addison.
(New York, NY) — N-F-L teams across the league are starting to report for training camp as the upcoming season approaches. The season officially kicks off on September 5th in Kansas City when the Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens.
