Vikings rout Falcons
(Minneapolis, MN) — Sam Darnold threw five touchdown passes, three of them to Jordan Addison, as the Vikings upended the Falcons 42-21 for win number six in a row. Darnold was 22-for-28 for 347 yards and zero turnovers as he hit both Addison and Justin Jefferson for long touchdown strikes. Jefferson, who scored his first T-D since October, finished with seven receptions for 132 yards with two touchdown grabs. Former Viking Q-B Kirk Cousins, now calling signals for the Falcons in his first game against his former team, threw a pair of interceptions and no touchdowns on 23-for-37 passing on 344 yards. The Vikings are now 11-2 on the season and 6-1 at U.S. Bank Stadium. They host the Chicago Bears next Monday night for a 7 P-M kickoff.
