Vikings Select O-S-U Offensive Lineman In First Round

(Minnesota News Network- Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings used the 24th pick of the first round to select Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson in last night’s N-F-L Draft. Jackson played for the 2024 national champion Buckeyes, starting 40 games and making first-team all-Big Ten three years in a row. Jackson likely slots into the left guard position for the Vikings, who are remaking their offensive line this offseason. Minnesota added free agent linemen Ryan Kelly and Will Fries. Minnesota currently holds three more picks in the draft, including one tonight in the third round, which is 97th overall. They own two slots tomorrow night, including a fifth-rounder at number-139 overall and a sixth-round pick at number-187 overall.
