Vikings to induct Adrian Petersen into the Ring of Honor

(Eagan, MN/Learfield News) — The Minnesota Vikings are honoring one of their all-time greats this season. Former running back Adrian Peterson will be inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor this season, the team announced. Peterson played 10 years in Minnesota and is the franchise’s all-time leader in rushing yards and touchdowns.

In other team news, the Vikings signed linebacker Bangally Kamara and defensive lineman Smith Vilbert to contracts yesterday. Both are rookies.
