Vikings will honor Bobby Bryant

(Eagan, MN) — Former Minnesota Vikings defensive back Bobby Bryant will be inducted into the team’s “Ring of Honor” at a ceremony on September 22nd. Bryant played for the Purple from 1967 through 1980, making 57 interceptions in both the regular season and playoffs. That number is the most anyone wearing a Vikings uniform has ever made. Bryant is the first cornerback and the third defensive back to earn the “Ring of Honor” distinction. Bryant played on 11 Vikings teams that won a division and twice started in the Super Bowl.
