Virginia Mae Whitcomb Kopischke

Virginia Mae Whitcomb Kopischke, lovingly known as “Mom” to seven, “Grammy” to her grandchildren, “Mrs. K” to generations of children, and to so many as “Babe,” passed away peacefully at Gil-Mor Manor, in Morgan, Minnesota, on May 16, 2026, at the golden age of 94. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan, MN, with burial to follow in the St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Morgan, MN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20 at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Morgan, MN and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

The Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Morgan and Redwood Falls are in charge of the arrangements.
