WALZ – NO SPECIAL SESSION FOR ERA, BONDING BILL

Governor Walz says there will not be a special session on a bonding bill and an Equal Rights amendment.  House Speaker, Democrat Melissa Hortman says that what’s next for the Equal Rights Amendment from the House perspective is that there is an election, they will all go out and run for re-election and the next legislature will address the issue.  When asked whether it will be a campaign issue for the House DFL caucus, Hortman says that she is sure that some campaigns will talk about it.
