Walz to Accept VP Nomination at DNC

(Learfield News/Chicago, IL) — The 2024 Democratic National Convention kicks off today (Mon) in Chicago and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will be in the spotlight as the running mate of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Walz will formally accept the vice presidential nomination on Wednesday night and deliver a speech.

The Minnesota DNC delegates are meeting for breakfast each morning (7:30-9am) of the convention.

President Joe Biden is the keynote speaker tonight and First Lady Jill Biden is also scheduled to speak at the United Center.

Vice President Harris will give her acceptance speech as the Democrats’ official presidential nominee on Thursday evening.
