Wild Beat The Kings

Mats Zuccarello scored the go ahead goal with under five minutes left in regulation as the Wild beat the Kings 3-1 on Monday night in St. Paul. Ryan Hartman tied the game at 1-1 early in the second on a power play goal but it was Zuccarello that gave the Wild their first lead of the hockey game at 15:22 of the third also with the man advantage. He took a pass from Matt Boldy and fired through traffic to beat Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper for the eventual winner. Marcus Johansson iced the win into an empty net with under a minute left in the game. Wild Coach John Hynes recaps the win and says this was huge to get them back in the right direction.
