Wild blasted by Colorado

(St. Paul, MN) — Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen combined for four points as the Avalanche clubbed the Wild 6-1 on Thursday night in St. Paul. The Wild got their only goal from Zach Bogosian in the first period to make it a 2-1 deficit but the Avs responded with the next four including three in the final frame. The Wild, who saw their four game win streak come to an end, were already without Kirill Kaprizov, Jared Spurgeon and Jakub Lauko and then found out earlier in the day they would also be without Brock Faber and Jonas Brodin. Filip Gustavsson game up six goals on 27 shots and suffered the loss. The Wild are in San Jose on Saturday night and at Vegas on Sunday.
