Wild blow 3-1 lead, lose 6-3

(Tampa Bay, FL/Minnesota News Network) — The Wild blew a 3-1 lead and fell to the Lightning 6-3 on Tuesday to start a three game road trip. Mats Zuccarello, Brock Faber and Vladimir Tarasenko helped Minnesota build a 3-1 lead midway through the second period. But the Lightning scored the next five to eclipse the Wild and start the road trip on a sour note. Eric Cernak got credit for the eventual winner with under three minutes left in regulation when Filip Gustavsson fumbled a puck off the end boards and Cernak whacked it home. Gustavsson suffered the loss on 19 saves. The Wild have lost five of the last seven overall. Stop number two of the trip is Thursday at 6 P-M in Florida against the Panthers.
